2D Con’s very first 24 Hour Game Jam!
New for 2024! Do you enjoy creating games? Be a part of our very first 2D Con 24 hour Game Jam, Dev Dash. Join as a team or work solo on a new game of your own design based on a theme that will be announced when Dev Dash begins! When Dev Dash concludes at 6pm Friday, you will have the option to showcase your game at our our Indie Island Developers Showcase Area for attendees to play, provide feedback, and vote for. An award for the best Dev Dash game will be given out during closing ceremonies Sunday afternoon.
Join us before the con begins on Thursday at 6pm and still be able to enjoy all that 2D Con has to offer when Dev Dash concludes at 6pm Friday!
Important Details
SIGNING UP
- Dev Dash is FREE with purchase of your 2D Con 2024 ticket
- Signups for Dev Dash end August 15th, 2024
- All participants must be registered for 2D Con 2024
- You can join either as an individual or as part of a team
- Games can be any type (i.e. TCG, Tabletop, Mobile, VR, etc.) as long as they follow the theme announced at the beginning of the Jam
- An e-mail with further details about your Dev Dash registration will be sent out August 16th
DURING DEV DASH
- Dev Dash begins on Thursday August 22, 2024 at 6PM and ends on Friday August 23, 2024 at 6PM
- Dev Dash is located on the 22nd floor of the DoubleTree
- Participants are not required to stay in the Jam-space the entire 24 hours but must be present for the beginning and the very end.
- Participants must use/provide their own equipment for the development and display of their games

Ready to sign-up? Make sure you have your 2D Con 2024 registration before signing up. If you plan to register for Dev Dash as a team be sure to coordinate with them on a team-name before you enter!
